Tom Sleeter's Bio: After graduating from Port Huron Northern in 1966, I attended Michigan State University, graduating in 1970 with a Bachelorís degree in economics.  From there I moved to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, working toward an MBA in Finance.  I graduated with that degree in 1973.  Jobs along the way included a number of treasury positions at Nalco Chemical Company, culminating in being elected Assistant Treasurer of the company.  In 1984, I went to USG Corporation, where I was first Director of Investor Relations, then also the Pension Fund Director.  After that, I became Chief Financial Officer of a healthcare company.  In the early 1990s, my wife and I started our own business which grew into the money management firm that we run today.  Jan and I have been married since 1974, and we have two children.  Our son David is a security analyst covering healthcare industry stocks for a mutual fund management firm in Rochester, New York.  Our daughter, Anna, is a junior in civil engineering at Duke University.  Recent activities have included trips to Australia, South America, and to our summer home in the Upper Peninsula.  I am active in our church, the Lions Club, and various other organizations.  I do not get back to Port Huron as much as I would like, but have enjoyed keeping in touch with some of our fellow graduates, and would certainly like to enlarge the list of people with whom I talk regularly.
